105-FLORA PATCHWORK CUSHION COVER COLLECTION
ICI FLORA PATCHWORK COLLECTION

Anatolia (mainland of modern Turkey, also called as Asia Minor historically) is a melting pot for cultures and civilizations and this historical richness and complexity yielded in a very affluent and diverse weaving heritage through millenniums.

All regions, cities, towns even the villages have their own weaving technics, patterns, textures and colors.

Hemp kilims are striking samples of Anatolian weavings and they are simple, coarse, archaic floor coverings mostly woven in and around central Anatolia, newest ones are 50 years old.

Iterative, dark colored wool stripes, embroidered burdock and helical patterns are the most common ornaments of authentic hemp weavings.

Redesigned in patchwork style, ICI Flora patchworks suit exquisitely both in urban and country interiors due to its archaic versatility.

Inconsistencies, color tone and texture differences of patches, little bows coming out of woven surfaces are all characteristics of Flora Collection and all make each patchwork unique.

Available in nineteen mostly muted, pastel colors, ICI Flora patchworks are completed with rough style stitching revealing historical and indigenous soul of original weavings.
